Scenario 1: The ‘Must-Not-Fail’ Application (Aviation & Heavy Machinery)
From the outside, it looks like you just need the strongest bond. The reality is that strength alone is a trap. I learned this in Q2 2023 when we spec’d a high-strength epoxy for a vibration-heavy assembly. It held—but the part cracked next to the bond line because the adhesive was too rigid.
What really matters here?
