How to Choose the Right Adhesive: A Cost Controller’s Henkel Guide

Here’s the decision filter I use:
- What’s the failure cost? Annoying? Scenario 1. Damage or redo? Scenario 2. Production halt or safety risk? Scenario 3.
- How much time do you have? A curtain rod: 10 minutes. A floor: one day. A fab line: no tolerance.
- Who else depends on the outcome? Just you? Your customers? Hundreds of downstream parts?
- What’s your real budget? Not the price tag, but the total cost of getting it wrong.

The right adhesive isn’t the one with the best marketing. It’s the one that gives you the lowest total cost for the specific risk you’re managing. That’s what I mean by efficiency.
